MEET CRISTINA

Cristina Rodriguez was born and raised in Elgin, IL., a northwest suburb of Chicago where she has now resided since 2009. She is a self-described MexiRican, the daughter of divorced parents, and the older sister to a younger brother. 

A first-generation college graduate, Cristina received both her Bachelor of Science and her Master of Science degrees from DePaul University (Chicago) in Information Systems and Business Information Technology, respectively.

An enthusiast of art, music, photography, books, and design, Cristina has forged a career that merges her passion for creativity and her background in technology. Currently, she works within the Higher Education field and is preparing to launch her own business, Letter C Creative–both specializing in brand and web development, marketing, online presence, and digital/print design and production. 

In more recent years, in an effort to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle, Cristina has been on a path of healing from personal trauma, prioritizing self-care, and setting healthy boundaries in her career and personal life, including relationships with family and friends. She enjoys traveling, weekends relaxing at her camper, summer patio evenings with friends, maintaining an active fitness routine, and enjoying decadent pastries and delicious tacos with her boyfriend.
